Kodaikanal is a beautiful hill retreat situated in Palani hills in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is also referred to as the 'Princess of Hill Stations'.

The town is situated on a plateau at a height of 2,195 mts above sea level. A vast expanse of Eucalyptus and Pear trees with shola forests covers the region with mighty rocks and cascading streams. High waterfalls, beautiful gardens and flower beds adorn the place. 

The nearest airports to Kodaikanal are Trichy, Madurai and Coimbatore. From there, the best way to reach Kodaikanal is by road. Taxis are available for hire from these cities to Kodaikanal.
